Quad Frenzy

Is this legit? I hit level 30 last nite in ldon. As i was fighting away I went into frenzy mode. Tried to frenzy on a mob 4 times. Unfortunately only 2 had landed. Was this a bug or does one get quad frenzys? I doulble check my screen to verify i didnt get a single hit with a triple frenzy.

If you were fighting multiple mobs, you were trying to Frenzy on a Shielded mob.

Cant remember if multiple mobs at that time or not. Somehow i was the puller and have a hard time single pulls. So i just walk into a room and pull the closest to door . Who said Berzerkers cant tank?

Haha a wizard can tank at lvl 30. Get higher and try to tank buddy.

zerkers can tank in ldon.. hell, rangers can tank in ldon.. it's all up to the person behind the toon knowing what they're doing, and being good at it.

I tank in BoT PoM and HoH all the time..no ep gear or VT gear either we can tank..

and on topic yes if you have multiple mobs you can get more then a triple biggest i had so far was a 7x freny hit in ssra 3 mob pull.

So frenzy can hit multiple mobs? I never knew that.

I did a 5x frenzy once...friend did a 4x...im thinking maybe frenzy hits have a chance to double attack somehow.

From a cleric's point of view, a class that needs only 1-2 heals a mob vs a class that needs 3-4 heals against the same mob is not the same. Even a wiz can tank a mob in BoT if the clr chain remedies.

Frenzy doesn't hit multiple mobs does it?

So far I seen legit triple frenzy, haven't seen quad yet

I've seen it once where Frenzy hit multiple mobs, could of happenned more but I usually don't pay too much attention to my battle spam window.

If multiple mobs mean the ability to frenzy all of the mobs, has anyone noticed mezz breaking because of this? Curious if it was safeguarded against breaking mezzes.

Silk classes can tank the normal LDoN missions (I've watched Enchanters intentionally tank them, and know of all necro groups doing LDoN's when it was new) with the right gear. The scarier thought is Rangers can heal LDoN with very little healing AA's.

i went into a ldon the other day and we had a warrior in grp and war said for me to tank cause i had better stats than him and somone in grp asked why a berserker would be tanking? they good tanks when you use the Head Strike disc

a wiz cant tank at 30 lol and zerkers can tank up to 55 i know that

...I've watched Enchanters intentionally tank them..

Chanters can mez tank.. ie, occupy a mob that can't (or they don't want to) mez. High mr mobs are usual targets, those that do less than 1500 damage in 6 seconds (generally) are prime canidates. With a couple of the PoP aa and spells, chanters actually become very good pullers.. and better than mearly little speedbumps on the way to the cleric.

The best (read: fastest) ldon group i've had was myself, a druid, and 4 rangers.... and the druid barely had to heal. I pulled, and slowed, kinda.. any that resisted slow on the pull were dead before i could get a second slow off.. and attempting a second slow would mean that the rangers were without mobs to kill often.

If you have multiple mobs, and one sheilds another.. could you score 3 frenzies on both? or do you just get a single hit to go through to the one shielding?

I have quaded frenzy on a single mob before. I remember it when i was around lvl 30 also, fighting a zelniak in dsp. That was the only time i actually noticed it happen.

i quad frenzied last night on one of the guards in Netherbian. it wasnt much only like 11,11,27,27 but i was sorda surprized when i did it

Twice for the same amount means in 99.999% of all cases that one mob shielded the other.

To support what Swampfunk said, I have quad and quintuple Frenzied on mobs in LDoN, but they had Rune and the damage was absorbed...it definately listed that I tried to Frenzy 4 or 5 times, for absorbed damage. I've never Frenzied for more than 3 times in a row for actual damage (not that 4, 17 and 44 is actual damage at my level, but you know what I mean).
