For life-based AA's to be meaningful in current content, the life% needs to start out real high.

The mobs just hit too hard to try to hope for an effect firing at 20%. Just ask Rangers how well their Nature's Reprieve AA works for them in UF.

Agreed. So, to get the new ability in the first place convince devs it's not too powerful by asking for a crappy form.

Parse and show that it sucks.

Have ability buffed up to usefulness.

Rage on.

Life percentage numbers may vary -- but warr berserk has always been effective if not reliable.

Im joking though -- I dont know what numbers would be useful but not overpowered. Its just an example.

Personally, though, I think the Rage innate I listed would work just fine as is.

I second that. Blinding fury was always useless in group situations, and has now become almost useless on raids. Being unable to use blinding decreases the effectiveness of berserking by a large amount. Changing to drunken would be fun, and effective again.

iirc being drunk reduces attack speed a small amount (which is a large amount since it will then negate all haste effects).

I think it also rapes agility, along with int/wis (not like they matter). This will in turn lower AC some, been awhile since I was smashed but I think it could be a pretty big chunk. While I like the idea of at least being able to see drunken vs being blind, maybe if we can mitigate the negatives it would be cool... Time to break out my Brell's Fishing Kit thing and max out AT, heh. Huge

I'll take a hit in AC and Wis/Int if it means I actually get to attack the mob. Lowered attack speed doesn't sit well with me though

There was an event in Uqua, two brothers, Enraged and Furious something or other, the AE in these two events gave you drunken vision, but iirc it didn't alter anything else, perhaps something like this?

Exploding axes
We fill our throwing axes with rage and throw them so hard they explode when they hit the target causing big damage.
I see this as a 1 minute duration AA with a 10 minute refresh.

hmmm i disagree changing current BF... it can be used efficiently if the mob isnt moving (tank role...)
imo before changing existing AA we got, lets focus on NEW DPS AAs please !!

i hate talking to devs about our cool existing AAs, it reminds me epic nerf, RA and SS nerf from SoD, blood hathet etc...........

We need a boost, we dont need a nerf of our already great AAs
it would be very easy for devs to change actual BF and say : "in UF zerks got a great change in their BF aa, and its already fantastic for their dps.......so sad !"

I hate asking for new abilities when our current abilities can't be used to the extent that the devs think they can be used. I'd rather wait until BF is useable and then ask for what we need, instead of blindly asking for an overpowered ability to make up for BF + what we need.

As previously stated, BF is absolutely USELESS in group situations unless you're (?)fighting a rooted mob(?). And even as a raider I can barely think of any events that I bother using it it, because I often end up losing DPS. Brekt before 30% (when I'm not discing), Scrying.... and the last 20% of Pallorax... when I can only use like the first 1/4 of its duration.

Maybe it's just SOD. I don't remember having problems with BF in MMM or Crystallos.

i use BF all the time, in group vs nameds (T8 T9) and in any raid we do

useable vs mindshear avatar, venom lord, pallorax, tyranon, queen malarian for example easily in SoD...

pallorax, tyranon,
Pallorax is tough because of the gflux and spin stun, Tyronant gets moved around due to push too much for me to be comfortable using it then.

i have done this since i got the ability. Works well as long as you have other melee in the group to use for placement. The other thing I do with Blinding, is if I lose the mob, I will hit battle Leap. Then take 1 step back.
