In mid-tier, Rangers and Beastlords indeed kick major ass. Last year, when I was still using a ticka, the 3 top parsers would be me, a rogue, and a beastlord. If I couldn't use all my discs... it's would be the rogue and beastlord. If the rogue missed a disc, then the beastlord.
Why? Because end-progression SoD group weapons fell from the sky while zerk 2-handers were in end-progression missions. Add in that rangers, for the last year, had a "give me more AAs" button, and any ranger with half a brain put on 1000+ AAs in power and utility.
Now, with a fully evolved evo weapon from the boomerang MM and SS reuse down to under 30 min, I'm doing my best DPS every fight and I'm normally 800+ DPS ahead of the beastlord. The rogue and I duke it out based on how much other non-burn work we have to do during a fight.
